Wedding photographer in Scotland
Planning an outdoor wedding or beach elopement in Scotland?
Hi, I’m Margaret.
I’ve been a wedding photographer in Scotland for 15 years. Photographing weddings from fabulous Scottish castles such as Skibo, Aldourie, Achnagairn and Lews to small elopements on the Isle of Harris and Isle of Skye.
I especially love to photograph outdoor weddings and elopements in remote and beautiful places throughout Scotland and its islands. If this is what you’re planning, get in touch!
Kind words from couples
“We got married on the beautiful Luskentyre Beach. Margaret was the only choice for such a setting due to all her amazing beach images. She is not only very professional but relaxed and creates such a calming and comforting atmosphere to be relaxed and be photographed.
I highly recommend Margaret from her communication to images to her personally. Such a talented lady!”
“Engaging Margaret for our wedding photoshoot was an excellent decision! Her eye for photography and angles translated to beautiful pieces of art.
It was a joy to work with Margaret, who allowed us to focus on each other and have great fun posing for her! Thank you Margaret for creating such wonderful memories for us in Inverness!”
“The photos unfold like a fairytale story book. Margaret completely made us feel 100% at ease.
The way she has managed to capture the dramatic landscape and completely bring to life the intimacy of the ceremony and all the emotions of the day is just wonderful. We can’t believe we almost didn’t have a photographer at our ceremony at all. We must have been crazy!
Margaret was everything we were hoping for and much, much more.”
“The shots were insanely good. Not only are the pictures beautiful, but they really capture the spirit of the day! She has a wonderful eye for light, and her framing of the shots is fabulous.
Margaret has created some stunning shots that take us back to the day each time we look at them. She has captured all the emotions, laughter and love perfectly. Family and friends that couldn’t make our day all said they feel like they were there.
Margaret herself felt like we’d met up with an old friend, she has a great sense of humour and made us feel like relaxed”
“Absolutely fantastic photos! We love them so much, the only problem is trying to narrow them down! They are all fantastic.
Margaret really captured the day so well. She was so relaxed and great to work – even when ferried around Loch Torridon in a campervan with a bride, groom and some noisy Jack Russell Terriers!
“Margaret is an incredibly talented photographer who was accommodating and flexible during our wedding day. We eloped, so it was just the two of us, and she captured so many beautiful moments.
She had great ideas for outdoor locations to shoot after our ceremony to capture the true natural beauty of the Highlands. We ended up with amazing pictures and are completely satisfied with the final product. We could not recommend her more highly!
“Margaret took the time to completely understand our vision for the wedding and her role within it. She helped us make decisions where we needed to and guided us through the whole process to leave us the minimum amount of things to think about.
She was fantastic on the day, blending in with our guests and taking magical candids as well as getting the formals efficiently dealt with to let us get back to our guests. Fantastic.”
“Margaret captured our wedding perfectly. She was a pleasure to speak with before, during and after the wedding and provided us with so many beautiful images from the day.
Her style is completely non-intrusive. We spent under 30 minutes doing group shots and the rest of the day with our guests while she caught all the special moments”
“Margaret was really calm, friendly and professional, we are both so happy that we chose her as our wedding photographer.
The photographs have provided beautiful lasting memories to a very special day”
