Susannah & James | Wedding photography at Achnagairn House

I was recently asked to photograph the wedding of Susannah and James at Achnagairn House near Inverness.

Susannah got ready close to where I live in Drumnadrochit, at her family home which has the most fantastic views over Loch Ness and Urqhuart castle. An outdoor registrar ceremony was shortly followed by a Jewish blessing; complete with choir singers, 7 blessings , glass smashing and a wonderful exit down the aisle to singing of mazel tov.

A delicious buffet dinner was served  by Good Highland Food in the great hall which was transformed by Angela Stewart Creative into a floral wonderland. Ceilidh dancing in the evening finished off a lovely wedding day for Susannah & James. Here are a few of the photos from the day;

    Margaret, we are spending a few days with my parents-in-law for the first time since the wedding, and are enjoying your photos all over again. My mother had lots of fun at Christmas choosing which ones to have printed, and now my mother-in-law is doing the same. We are all in awe of your talent, and want to say again what a pleasure it was to have you with us. Hope to see you in 2014!

    Love
    Susannah
