Eilean Donan Castle & The Duisdale Hotel Wedding
MIn and John came over to be married at Eilean Donan Castle with the shortest notice I have yet to see – 3 weeks before the wedding, the date wasn’t yet confirmed. The result, however, was a very relaxed day with a high volume of laughter, fun and enjoyment for everyone involved.
Min got ready at the Duisdale House Hotel during the longest run of the best weather we have had in Scotland for a long time. After being warned by myself amongst many, to be prepared for rain, wind or snow and to bring warm coats and wellies, it turned out to be sunny, dry and even a little bit warm.
Spud the Piper, as usual was very much part of the day with his cheery attitude and great sense of humour. A little addition to his usual repertoire on this wedding though, was a GoPro camera fixed in his bonnet to film the entire day – from a pipers perspective!
A lovely ceremony in Eilean Donan Castle was followed by a few drinks and photos outside before Spud led the party back down the bridge from the castle.
Here’s a few of the highlights of their day:
